Download Application Download Accelerator for Nokia 5800 and X6

Download Accelerator is a decent download manager application for Symbian S60 5th edition based touchscreen phones from Nokia. Developed by 1000 CHI Software, it integrates into the default mobile browser and intercepts links automatically to download.

It is really useful when you use your default mobile browser for viewing Web pages and downloading files from web. The application offers following features -

• Interception of all links
• Download File formats supported: JAR, RAR, ZIP, SIS and SISX
• Secure file download
• Option to select a local drive and directory to save files
• Ability to download up to three files simultaneously
• Sound notification as soon as download completes
• Rename the downloaded file

When you use browser of phone to browse web pages, Download Accelerator would be active after you click the download links, and it would download the file at high speed. After download finishes, it would sort the files by their category in File Manager.
